5 easy steps to run LactoSens®
IMPORTANT: Please read lactose test kit manual and watch the demonstration video before running the test.
Simple sample preparation suitable for liquids and solids
Bring milk product to room temperature, add the ready-to-use buffer and mix until homogenous. This simple lactose analysis procedure enables results equivalent to the reference method HPAEC-PAD.
Switch on the LactoSens®R Reader and start LactoSens® Software
The LactoSens®R Reader Kit provides hardware and software that will allow you to get a precise lactose measurement when used with the LactoSens® lactose test kit. The intuitive software guides you through the lactose analysis step by step.
Transfer necessary information with a single scan
Each individually packed lactose sensor is labeled with a QR code containing the key parameters like batch specific calibration data, expiry date or sensor batch name. Factory calibration enables quick start of the lactose analysis without running a calibration.
Apply the sample to the sensor and wait for one minute
Once the LactoSens®R Reader detects the first contact of the sample at the lactose sensor there is nothing more to do. Just wait 50 seconds until results of your lactose measurement are displayed.
Take immediate decisions based on results
Final results of your lactose analysis are displayed immediately. No need for cumbersome calculations. You can choose from several output formats (.xls., .csv., .PDF) to store the data or easily transfer it into your LIMS system.
